BIO

Pam Hackbart-Dean became the Head of Special Collections & University Archives at the University of Illinois at Chicago in 2019. Prior to this appointment, she was the director of the Special Collections Research Center, Southern Illinois University Carbondale; Head of Special Collections & Archives and Southern Labor Archivist, Georgia State University; Processing Archivist at the Richard B. Library for Political Research and Study at the University of Georgia; and Project Archivist for the National Recreation and Park Association (NHPRC funded project).
