BIO
Emily Gilbert is an assistant professor and liaison librarian in UIC’s Library of the Health Sciences. She works with medical students, trainees, and faculty to help them build their research skills and meet their information needs. Before coming to UIC in 2021, she spent a decade in other academic libraries, including five years as a health sciences librarian. Her research agenda concerns systemic anti-fatness and how libraries can create an inclusive and accessible future for people in all bodies.
